Northern Peninsula Area Gamba Grass Control 2014 & 2015

Gamba Grass (Andropogon gayanus) is a significant weed in Queensland and is a declared pest under Queensland legislation. Cape York NRM provides support to the Injinoo Ranger Base, Northern Peninsula Area Regional Council/Apudthama Land & Sea Rangers as part of the‘Reducing the impact of pests and weeds: Strategic landscape scale control while building land management knowledge and skills’ project.

Spray points for control of Gamba Grass carried out by the Northern Peninsula Area Regional Council/Apudthama Land & Sea Rangers in 2014 and 2015.
